To answer some queries we have had -there is no wifi on site, camp pitches are not pre bookable and there is no electric hook up, but there is enough space for all to be within 50m of the track and over 3 km of trackside space. There is a designated solo camping area to allow good access to support for soloists. Dogs on leads are allowed. There is no cashpoint on site. There will be hot showers, toilets, elsan disposal point, drinking water, event catering, Revolution sports therapy massage, Juice Lubes bike wash and Exposure lights charging station. We are just finalising course details and will provide updates nearer the event.

Extended camping places are still available and we have 4 x 4 berth trackside tipis available to hire. Torchbearer12 and kids races are both nearly full and are expected to close very soon.

Light Hire

Exposure Lights will be offering a wide range of lights to hire at Bontrager Twentyfour12. To pre-book your race lights contact and collect on the day. Bar lights will be available for £20 and helmet lights for £10, Exposure Lights will fit the lights and take the rider through the usage and settings that best suit them. Make sure you book and collect them early to avoid any pre-race panic. Exposure Lights will also be on hand all night for free charging and support.

Don't forget they are happy to charge any lighting brand...just don't leave it too late...they aren't time travellers

Extended Camping
One of the highlights for many is the chance to spend time in a beautiful stream lined Devon Valley and camp right next to the course. Newnham Park has long hosted large scale events and is well set up for long term camping. A drinking water supply that covers the length of the 1/2 mile long event field, hard surface tracks, flat well drained camping area, an elsan disposal point, hot showers and not a building in sight.206

Organiser's Diary

In 2005 we had been organising the national series for a couple of years and had a meeting with Brian Buckle from Bontrager about staging a new event. The dream was to create a ground breaking 24 hour event that would be more like a festival but be an on bike race, no hopping off and walking to get your lap time, provide full 24 hour services for all, start at midday and crucially be on a course that would actually be fun to ride on...
