First of all, thanks to everyone that raced. Of all the 24 hour races I have done, this one is both the fastest and friendliest, a combination that really can't be beat. We had some tough weather this year, but everyone took it in stride and made...
...the event the best of it's kind anywhere. Thanks to Martyn and his crew - you put together a nearly perfect course and venue again. The weather didn't go as well as it did last year, but the race was even better! And to all the sponsors - we couldn't put the race on without you. The way you go about your business in the venue and expo area is second to none, and I think everyone there recognizes that. And to Rory from Exposure lights - thanks for the help with the lights. Those new units worked flawlessly. Lastly, next year, when you see me running around in the pits the day before the race, remind me to drink more water. I cramped on the 3rd lap this year and rode the rest of the 12 hours that way. Ouch. You'd think I would know by now... ;-) I'll definitely sort out the cramps next year, and I am looking forward to it. Until next year! KB |
